Welcome to LYTE Run Club, where we offer three exciting programs tailored to meet the diverse needs of our participants.



Scheduled Public Program:

Our Scheduled Public Program is designed for those who prefer a more structured and communal running experience. Sessions run throughout the year and are open to the public, providing an opportunity to meet new friends who share a passion for running. This program offers a consistent schedule, making it convenient for individuals or families to participate and stay committed to their fitness goals.


School Partnership Program:

LYTE Run Club proudly collaborates with local schools and their PTO/PTA to bring the joy of running to students. The School Partnership Program offers after-school sessions throughout the school year, creating a dynamic and supportive environment for enrolled participants. The skills taught at LYTE will transfer into the classroom creating a sense of belief and determination within the student. To join, individuals must attend the partnering school, fostering a sense of community and school spirit while promoting health and wellness.

YOU Pick Program:

Ideal for homeschoolers, co-ops, or neighborhood friends looking for a private and customized running experience. In this program, you have the flexibility to pick your group, whether it's friends from your homeschool community or neighbors. With a minimum requirement of 5 kids and at least 40 yards of space, this option allows for a personalized and intimate setting. Additional restrictions may apply, ensuring a safe and enjoyable running environment.

What Running Skills Are Covered?

1) Warm-up/Cool down – We prepare our bodies to run with a warm-up and prepare it to restore with a cool down.

2) Posture – Posture reflects attitude. Run Club Attitude: relaxed, light, positive feeling while running tall, controlled and looking forward.

3) Pacing – Understand different pacing speeds and when to use each.

4) Energy Direction – Keeping good running form will make your running more efficient so you can go faster for longer periods of time.

5) Speed vs. Endurance – Understand the difference between speed and endurance and how they work together.

6) Stride – Understand stride, cadence and how they relate to speed. Be able to find the “just right” stride during different run speeds.

7) Strength training – Running is a whole-body exercise and strength training is an important part of any running program.

8) Putting it all together – Earn the end of season medal by completing the Medal Challenge.

Do Kids Participate In Races?

We participate in local off-site public races and encourage all students and their families to participate as often as possible. Please check with your coach during your session to see if there are any upcoming events planned.
